The purpose of Hope International School is to help improve the living conditions of the people of the area by providing quality and supporting education for their children.
Objectives (Anthony and Jarvis’ words):
• To enable the low income groups to get good education for their children.
• To reduce the burden of working parents in the area.
• To help reduce the illiteracy rate in the area.
• To live out the principle of “Service to Man is Service to God”.
A permanent classroom block is under construction. We have got stuck at the level shown in the attached pictures.
Children take lunch under the shade of trees, either by standing or sitting on stones. No dinning room.
Your donation to complete that structure would be very much appreciated. Also, your donation of books, computers and toys for the school are very much welcomed.

THE HOPE INTERNATIOAL SCHOOL FUND
The school needs your support to complete the new school building under construction and to continue to feed and provide supplies for each student.
Units of Service:
• $ 500 – Raise the roof (lumber, nails, iron rods, aluminium roofing sheets, plywood for ceiling etc)
• $ 200 – Raise walls (iron rods for pillars, cement and sand for concrete blocks, gravel, sand and cement for concrete work, sand and cement for plastering etc)
• $ 100 – Windows and Doors ( 24 windows, 6 doors, locks and keys, 24 window locks etc)
• $ 100 – Floor (Sand, gravel and cement)
• $ 100 – Out house/Rest room (Digging the pit, cement and sand for concrete block, sand and cement for plastering the walls, aluminium roofing sheets, lumber and nails for roofing, 8 doors, 8 windows and 8 locks for doors and windows).
• $ 50 – Table and chair ( Non-detachable writing desks and round tables for dining)
• $ 60 – Sponsors a child ($5.00 per month, include: lunch, tuition fees and maintenance fees)
• $ 10 – Toys and books ( Cars, dolls, sleeping mats, logo, Science, Math, English books etc)
• Labor cost – not determined
Total Budget Needed: We may need a total amount of about $15, 500.00 to meet the total cost of the school building under construction.
